The rooms
Four rooms in the renovated farmhouse, each named after an olive variety. Breakfast for two is included.
Mignola
One of the two larger rooms, with high wooden ceilings and a king-size bed. A daybed by the window looks out over Potenza Picena. Walk-in wardrobe and an extra large bathroom.
Leccino
One of the two larger rooms, with high wooden ceilings, soft natural tones and a king-size bed. A lounge chair by the window looks out over the village.
Raggia
Slightly smaller, in warm earth tones with handcrafted details. Sunset views over the Recanati hills. A king-size bed or two singles.
Ascolana
Slightly smaller, with handcrafted furniture and a spacious bathroom. Sunset views over the Recanati hills. A king-size bed or two singles.
Meet your hosts
We're Tom and Annemarie, originally from the Netherlands. We run Scala ourselves, from breakfast on the terrace to the olive harvest in October.
Annemarie looks after the organic garden. Tom does the cooking, and the curing and fermenting too. Ask us for a beach or a restaurant and you'll get the places we go to ourselves. We're happy to book the table for you.

Take a bit of Scala home
Our olives are pressed at a mill nearby, and the filtered oil is bottled back here on the farm. The honey comes raw from our own hives. We make the skincare by hand from that same oil, our beeswax and herbs from the garden. Small batches, all of it. Try them during your stay or order online.
