In about 20 minutes you reach the Conero coast, with Numana and Sirolo. Cliffs, clear water and some of the best beaches in Le Marche.

Every room has two hammam towels for the beach.

Hill towns and culture

Hill towns and culture

Loreto is known for its basilica, the Santa Casa. Recanati is the home town of the poet Giacomo Leopardi. In summer, Macerata holds its opera festival in the Sferisterio, an open-air arena.

Each has a historic centre worth an afternoon, and restaurants that cook with food from both the sea and the hills.

The Sibillini mountains

The Sibillini mountains

Inland, the Monti Sibillini national park has walking and cycling routes, small villages and lakes. On a clear day the view reaches from the Apennines to the sea.

In spring and summer the meadows are full of wildflowers.

Getting around

A car is recommended

Public transport in the countryside is limited. A car is the easiest way to explore.

E-bikes

Two e-bikes for rent, helmets included. The hills are steep, so some cycling experience helps.
